§ Terms & Conditions

A zero-tolerance compact.

Welcome to the All Indian Student Voice Bloc (the “Platform,” “AISVB,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By registering, accessing, or using this Platform, you (the “User”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you are under 18 years of age, your access is contingent upon verifiable parental or legal guardian consent.

1. Eligibility & Account Tiers

To ensure a secure environment, the Platform categorises users into three distinct tiers:

  • Bal Bloc (Ages 8–13): Must be fully registered and managed by a verified parent/guardian. Access is read-only; any reporting is routed privately via the parent’s verified account.
  • Tarun Bloc (Ages 14–17): Requires verifiable parental/guardian consent via OTP or link verification before an account is activated.
  • Yuva Bloc (Ages 18–30+): Self-verified via institutional ID/email and dynamic verification.

2. Intermediary Status & Limitation of Liability (Safe Harbor)

  • Status: AISVB operates strictly as an “Intermediary” under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, providing a platform for user-generated content, peer-to-peer mentorship, and civic reporting.
  • User Content Responsibility: We do not pre-screen or generate user content. Any text, image, video, audio, or evidence uploaded to the Platform is the sole responsibility of the individual user who posted it.
  • Immunity: The Platform shall not be held civilly or criminally liable for any illegal, defamatory, false, or harmful content posted by its users, provided the Platform exercises legal due diligence and complies with mandatory take-down notices as prescribed under Indian law.

3. Prohibited Content & Code of Conduct

Users are strictly prohibited from uploading, hosting, or transmitting any content that:

  • Defames, cyberbullies, harasses, or threatens any individual (including students, teachers, or administrators).
  • Is false, fabricated, or malicious, intended to settle personal vendettas or damage an institution’s reputation.
  • Contains deepfakes or synthetically modified media passed off as genuine evidence without explicit disclosure.
  • Violates any prevailing laws of India, including the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the POCSO Act.

4. Indemnification

By creating an account, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AISVB, its founders, administrators, and representatives from any claims, lawsuits, damages, or legal costs arising from content you publish that violates these Terms or infringes upon the rights of a third party.

5. Grievance Redressal and Takedown Policy

In compliance with the IT Rules, any individual or institution seeking the removal of defamatory or illegal content must contact our Grievance Officer at grievance@aijsvbloc.org. Verified complaints will be actioned and removed within government-stipulated timelines.

§ Privacy Policy

Your data is not for sale.

AISVB is committed to protecting the privacy of our community. This policy outlines how we collect, store, and process personal data in strict compliance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.

1. Data Collected & Purpose Limitation

  • For Minors (Under 18): Name, Class, School Name, Date of Birth, School ID card image, and the Parent’s/Guardian’s verified mobile number and email ID.
  • For Adults (18–30+): Name, Date of Birth, College/University ID, Mobile Number, and Email ID.
  • Purpose: Data is processed solely for identity verification, issuing digital membership cards, and securing the platform against unauthorised adult intruders.

2. Verifiable Parental Consent (Under-18 Shield)

In compliance with Section 9 of the DPDP Act, AISVB does not process the digital personal data of an individual under 18 without Verifiable Parental Consent. Registration for minors remains paused until the parent or lawful guardian authenticates their consent via our secure OTP or virtual token verification gateway.

3. Absolute Prohibition on Child Profiling & Ads

  • Zero behavioural tracking or profiling of users under the age of 18.
  • Zero targeted advertising directed at children.
  • Personal data collected for verification will never be sold, leased, or shared with third-party advertisers or commercial entities.

4. Security & Encryption

All uploaded documents (such as school/college ID cards) and contact logs are stored on secure cloud servers and fully encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256 encryption. Access to raw data is restricted exclusively to authorised platform security personnel.

5. Data Principal Rights (Access & Erasure)

Every user (or their verified parent/guardian) retains the right to:

  • Access and review the data stored with us.
  • Correct or update any verification parameters.
  • Right to Erasure: Request the permanent deletion of their account, along with all associated media, proofs, and contact logs, from our active databases and backup logs. Requests can be raised in-app or via privacy@aijsvbloc.org.
